Loads of news for you today! Broadcasting, writing, composing and voicing. It’s been quite the week. Have a listen to the pop-up podcast.
Guest presenting Pick of the Week for BBC Radio 4
I’m lucky to have been invited to guest host an episode of BBC Radio 4’s Pick of The Week. I get to choose my favourite bits from a whole week of BBC radio broadcasts.
You can hear my episode on Sunday 3rd March at 6.15 pm on BBC Radio 4. After that it’ll be available on BBC Sounds. Enjoy!
I’ve signed a three book deal with Bosky Publishing!
My books ‘You are here.’ and ‘This Book Stinks’ bring a mindful approach to travel journaling. ‘Virtually Me’ presents children with a way of writing their own personal manifesto to help them manage their online lives.
They’ll be published by Bosky Publishing.
I can't wait for my books to be enjoyed by readers. The simple mindfulness techniques in the books are all about noticing a single moment and living deliberately. The thinking behind the books is all about helping readers to think, feel and do stuff. They were such fun to write! I look forward to working with Bosky to develop more titles in the future.
Heather Sargeant of Bosky says: “Many people see the benefits of a mindful approach which helps them to stay connected and present within the busyness of life. I’m certain that both adults and children will enjoy both the fun and reflection offered in Emma’s titles. It is a delight to welcome Emma to Bosky Publishing’s list. Her workbooks are refreshing and joyful.”
My three books will be published throughout 2024. Woop!
Voicing
I’ve voiced a bunch of stuff this week for clients all over the globe: commercials, video narration, podcast branding and station imaging.
This one is one of my faves, The 90s Network in Dublin. You can watch it here.
