I asked AI for brand name suggestions for my voiceover business. Guess what happened.
Gagga? Seriously??
I thought it’d be fun to ask an AI app to come up with brand names for my voiceover business.
The key words I gave it were: voiceover, British, classy, friendly, fun, versatile.
What intriguing ideas, I wondered, would it come up with?
I expected left-field suggestions. Perhaps a smattering of thought-provokers, a light peppering of eyebrow-raisers. Maybe even a couple of jaw-droppers.
But I was in no way prepared for the WHOLE BOWLFUL OF WRONG the app dished up.
Are you ready?
Here we go.
Imagine the strapline: “Emma Clarke, her voice is aweful.”
My God.
But what, I wondered, would be next?
Wonder no more…
OK, I thought. Whatever. AI can give teenage eye-rolling snark. I can take it.
But the next one knocked me right off guard.
In what possible way does DOPEY related to voiceover, British, classy, friendly, fun, versatile??
Somewhat cruelly, Mr Clarke said, “It’s as if it knows you.”
I mean, that’s not even a word.
OK, now it’s just insulting me.
BEOWULF???
WHAT???
And now for my personal favourite….
At least it’s memorable. Imagine it on business cards.
“Emma Clarke, she makes you GAGGA.”
